From designer Julie Dubreux: When Urth Yarns invited me to join their Knitters of the World programme, I was thrilled to design knitwear inspired by my geographical roots. Beaubourg, a contemporary art museum in Paris, might seem unappealing to some, but I adore this vibrant building in the heart of the grey city. The 'Beaubourg' is a large rectangular wrap. It features two - colour brioche and slipped stitches set against a garter - stitch background, mimicking the colourful pipes on the museum's façade. Finished Measurements: Length: 180 cm / 71 in, Width: 77 cm / 30 in.

Using this 'Beaubourg' pattern is easy. Just follow the instructions in the PDF to create your large rectangular wrap. When knitting, pay attention to the two - colour brioche and slipped stitches to get that unique look like the museum's pipes. As for care, it's best to hand - wash your wrap in cool water with a gentle detergent. Avoid wringing it out to prevent stretching. Lay it flat to dry to keep its shape.
