Product Detail

Ana is an amazing shawl perfect for those just starting out in knitting! Its triangular shape, along with straightforward increases and decreases, creates a slightly lacy pattern that's super easy to remember. You can use a Koigu paint can, or choose to knit it with 435 yards of your favorite Koigu KPPPM colors. Designed by Taiu Landra. You'll need US 3/3.25 mm 32' long circular needles and a tapestry needle (not included). The finished shawl measures 44' (110) cm wide and 20' (50) cm long. The gauge is 17 sts = 27 sts = 4'/ 10 cm when using a size US 3/3.25 mm needle. It's shown in Koigu Pencil Paint Can, Snowman's Soul (5 X 25g/87yds/80m) 100% Merino Wool.

To use this Ana shawl pattern, first gather your US 3/3.25 mm circular needles and tapestry needle. Start knitting following the simple increase and decrease instructions to form the triangular shape. You can use a Koigu paint - can yarn or 435 yards of your favorite Koigu KPPPM. When you're done knitting, use the tapestry needle to finish off the edges. As for care, since it's made of 100% Merino Wool, it's best to hand - wash it in cool water with a gentle wool detergent. Lay it flat to dry to keep its shape. Avoid wringing or twisting the shawl as it could damage the fibers.
